Yoga is a holistic approach to well-being. It doesn't just improve the flexibility and health of your body, it can also help turn back time by increasing circulation and training your muscles to release unnecessary tension. You can even minimize facial wrinkles through yoga. Relaxing your facial muscles whenever you're doing an asana is one step in erasing wrinkles, but you can also do some yoga exercises that are specifically designed for facial relaxation.

- Inhale deeply as you open your jaw as wide as you can and stick your tongue out and down as far as possible. As you do this, look towards the tip of your nose with both eyes and stretch all of your fingers out, while keeping the palms of your hands on your knees.Hold the pose during the entire inhaled breath, which should last at least 30 seconds.Exhale slowly as your relax your fingers, draw your tongue in and close your jaw and your eyes.Repeat this yoga pose three times to rid your face of tension.
- Use a Simple Forward Fold Pose to Increase Circulation
- Take a comfortable stance with your hands on your hips and your legs about hip-width apart.Lengthen your torso as you bend forward from your waist slowly until you've bent as far as your flexibility allows.Move your hands down your legs and to the backs of your calves as you bend forward. If possible, bring your hands to the backs of your ankles.Allow your head and neck to be free, which is what gives this pose its wrinkle-fighting power.Breathe deeply in this pose. When you inhale, focus on lengthening your torso. When you exhale, allow yourself to relax more deeply into the forward bend.Stay in the pose at least one minute, or longer if you would like. Come out of the pose by moving your hands to your hips, then moving to a fully upright position during a long exhale.

- Sit in a half-lotus position by sitting cross-legged, then placing your left foot on top of your right thigh. If this is uncomfortable, use a cushion to sit on.Focus on aligning your spine and your neck, finding a place where you head feels perfectly comfortable and balanced.Take a few deep breaths to settle into the pose.Close your eyes.
